"The perfect man? A poet on a motorcycle. You know, the kind who lives on the edge, the free spirit. But he's also gotta have the soul of a poet and a brilliant mind. So, you know, good luck.” Thus was Lucinda Williams’ description of the “perfect man” to Esquire magazine some years ago. And thus the inspiration behind Poet Motors.

Poet Motors was born from not just a passion for motorcycles but a passion for life, one that, like Robert Frost’s protagonist, led founder Bronson Bigelow down “The Road Not Taken.” Bronson was a corporate attorney in New York City when he first read Lucinda's words. He was also an avid motorcyclist and motorcycle enthusiast. In pursuit of freedom, soul, adventure, and Mardi Gras, Bronson left the corporate world behind and relocated to New Orleans with his wife, Courtney, daughter, Willa Cash, and collection of motorcycles.

At Poet Motors, we hope you too will venture down the road less traveled in search of the things that make us all more perfect men and women.

Welcome to Poet Motors. A place for motorcycles and the poets who ride them.
